Our Story

How it all started...

Zion's Hill was established in 1884 in Monroe County Indiana with 15 charter members.
In 1895 the "house church" purchased and moved into the "Little Brick School" (Hazel Patch School) on Turkey Track road. Through the years, as the church grew,  a cemetery (1912) and new church building (1956) were built. As the mission of the church grew, the current building was built in 2005.

ZHBC continues to be a kingdom focused  body of believers engaging with the Martinsville, Indiana community through a small food pantry, prayer station,  addiction recovery group and a variety of outreach events.

Where we are headed...

As our community grows, so too does our church. Zion's Hill is dedicated to being a "space for grace" where all are welcome to come as they are with the expectation that they will experience a life changing encounter with King Jesus.

Join us in our mission to engage and serve our community, meeting physical needs so that we can expose the Spiritual needs of our world.
